| Hey Out there!
sorry it's been a couple of months....but you know life goes by so fast during the holiday's. this year is almost over, and it seems to have passed by so quickly. Today's scripture is found in Ephesians 4 verse 32-
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. ( Ephesians 4:32)
This verse is very important in the unity of a church... Our Pastor has talked about unity so many times over the past years, but it is still a problem in churches all over the world and even outside of churches. It's so easy to hold a grudge and not forgive someone for something they've done, but when you forgive someone not only does it make YOU feel better, it makes THEM feel better and you have pleased God. I know that when people hurt you, we tend to want to ball up and either hide, or strike out and say something hurtful in return. But people make mistakes.....we aren't perfect. Things like that will happen in life and unfortunately they will happen often, but we have to learn to get past it, and understand that people say and do things that they don't mean. It's not helping anyone when we go around talking bad about people that annoy or hurt you, it's just hurting everyone involved and even those around you. We have to have a loving, understanding and kind spirit to everyone, but especially to our brothers and sisters in Christ. we are all one body, and we need to work together to be that body that God wants us to be. Ever heard the saying "Why can't we all just get along?"? well, it's possible for us all to get along, but it first has to start within ourselves. You might think that one person can't make a difference, but next time you hear a juicy piece of gossip, just walk away or say "I don't want to hear it" it's hard,...trust me, I've been there. But it works out so well in the end and it sets a good example for everyone else. But no matter what, never miss a oppurtunity to tell your friends and family that you love and appreciate them. You never know how just a few words from someone you love can make such a big difference in their day.

| Hey out there! I know it's been awhile. I apoligize sincerely. :/ It's been hectic as usual. I don't know where I found the time to update every day!!! lol.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalm 133:1)
I think this is one of the biggest problems in our churches today. No one can get along! People are always bickering and complaining about one another. And back-biting, and gossiping. As so many people have said before, why can't we just all get along?? It's human nature to want to complain and gossip when someone offends you or you don't like that person. But we need to start looking past the surface and see what's inside. So many people just spend thier lives talking about one another. "She said this", "He doesn't like me", "Can you believe what SHE did??" when what you really need to do is pray for one another and be there for one another. The church is suppose to be a body, not seperate parts. How can we be a body when we don't get along? We need to be a support system for one another, helping each other when we're down, and giving loving support always. Everyone deserves love no matter how bad of a person they are. Jesus loves everyone equally. Why can't we do the same? Everything is so much nicer when we all pull together and work together for God's kingdom. For one week I challenge everyone to bite thier tongue when you feel a biting remark about to come out. I'll do the same. The old saying "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me" is so untrue. We have no idea how much our words can make or break a person. We don't know what goes on in people's lives behind the scenes. They come to church with big smiles on thier faces, yet when they get home, they break down and cry. People you sit next to in church may be that person. Just keep that in mind next time we feel like talking about someone. We all have problems. No one is perfect, we all mess up sometimes, but we shouldn't persecute each other for it.

| Hello out there!
Sorry it's been awhile since I've updated. I'm slacking I know . Things have been chaotic lately. Well here is today's verse.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
This verse is saying simply that only God can save us.... no other gods can. Pagan gods won't get you anywhere, they are only statues and made up things. God is real and He is the only one that can help. He's almighty, all powerful, he can do the unimaginable. Nothing is impossible with God. In the Bible, many people worshiped other God's. Baal, Dagon, Molec, among a few others are mentioned in the Bible as pagan gods, but we never once heard that praying to those gods caused anything but trouble. When you pray to God, you get results. Like the song says, He may not come when you want Him, but He'll be there right on time. God is never late or never early. He's always on time. You might be going through some troubles and problems in your life, but don't worry, God will bring you through it. He will not put more on you then you can handle. He will step in and intervene in your situation at the right time. Just hang in there!

| Hello Everyone!
My goodness, time just slips right on by doesn't it? it's been over a month since I've updated in here, sorry about that, things have just been so hectic and out of control over here. I can't believe this year is almost over, like I said......time flies doesn't it? Anyways, let me get on to the bible verse.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. ( Colossians 3:2)
What I think this verse is telling us, is that instead of getting so wrapped up in other things that occupy our time on earth, we need to set our sights on God instead, and work to getting to heaven. Alot of us, including myself get so caught up in doing other things that I sometimes forget to read my Bible and pray, thinking that "I'll do it tomorrow" And then when tomorrow rolls around, we're too busy and we forget again. Sometimes we just have to force ourselves to make room in our days for God, I know it's hard, but it's worth it. Setting a certain time to pray and read your bible certainly helps, because if you get into the routine of doing it everyday at a certain time, it will become as much a part of your day as brushing your teeth and showering......*which I hope is a daily ritual for all of us!! lol* And that's my advice for the day, I certainly hope that it has helped you in some way.

| Hey Everyone!
I'm sorry I havn't updated in awhile....but I've decided to take a small break from xanga. Just for a little while though. I've been so busy lately, I really don't have time for much anymore. This isn't a permanant thing, it's just till things settle down. In the mean time, keep your faith in the Lord, and continue to study God's word! God Bless all!!
